Identity Theft

Protecting your account information.

Identity theft is when someone steals your personal information—such as your social security number, driver’s license, checking and/or savings account numbers, credit card numbers, etc.—for the purpose of using your identity in a false manner to commit fraud. In turn, you end up with credit cards that have charges not authorized by you or worse.

Although ID thieves have some very sophisticated tricks up their sleeves, there are a number of ways you can protect yourself from theft.

Protecting your identity and your funds are our top priority. We’ll also be sure to notify you of any scams or alerts we hear about, and we’ll keep you up to date on any new information as it becomes available.

In the meantime, please remember that your savings accounts with us are federally insured to at least $250,000 and are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA)

In addition, your On The Grid Financial VISA® Platinum Credit Card comes with Zero Liability so you won’t have to pay charges on your card that were not authorized by you.

Stay safe out there.
